Alternatives to Violence
A history of partnership.
Philo members are instrumental in supporting Alternatives to Violence (ATV), a local non-profit that serves victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking.
Philo sponsored ATVs first supportive housing apartment and continues to replenish the apartment with needed household items. In addition, the committee provides volunteers for ATV fundraisers and collects donations for residents of ATV’s SafeHouse. Philo also sponsors an art square at Pastels on Fifth and tables at the Purple Ribbon Fundraising Breakfast.

for clients of ATV moving out of the
Safehouse and into their first apartments!
This supply drive replaces
our previous supply drive for the
Safehouse and will be ongoing.
Donations are accepted at any Philo Meeting.
Supplies needed include: cleaning supplies, personal hygiene products (shampoo/conditioner/lotion/soap), twin sheets, towels, wash clothes, dish towels, paper towel, toilet paper and gift cards.
