Proceeds from Philo’s Golf Tournament are used to fund monetary scholarships awarded to Loveland/Berthoud area students who demonstrate financial need in pursuing post high school education.
Applicants must have a career goal and be strongly motivated to complete occupation/vocational training at a two year community college or technical school.
2021 Philo Scholarship Information
We are looking for residents of Loveland or Berthoud who:
√ Have been accepted into a 2 year, (or less) technical/vocational associates degree/ certificate accredited program for the 2020-2021 academic year and who are strongly motivated to complete their training.
√ Have demonstrated financial need for a scholarship for tuition. Awards vary from $500- $3000 per school year.
√ 4 year degree programs are not eligible.
Interested students should:
√ Download an application packet (see below).
√ Submit the packet by the postmark deadline, Monday, March 22, 2021.
√ Be available for a 15 minute interview on April 10. Eligible candidates will be notified of the exact time of the interview.
√ Expect to be notified by May 1 of a Scholarship Award.

Philo scholarships are awarded to the chosen school for TUITION ONLY. Examples of scholarships awarded include (but not limited to) training in careers in health, business, paralegal, cosmetology, automotive repair, retail merchandising, childcare professions, and police/ firemen professions. Any scholarship money that is awarded must be used for the following academic school year. Any funds not used within the following academic school year will be forfeited.
